Bringing Back Jean Grey In Immortal X-Men #17 (Spoilers)

Seven weeks since the last issue of Immortal X-Men #16, and a confrontation between Hope Summers, Exodus, Jean Grey and Apocalypse.

It was a long time since the last issue of Immortal X-Men #16, and a confrontation between Hope Summers, Exodus and a version of Jean Grey and Apocalypse. Seven weeks, in fact.

In between, we had two issues of the Jean Grey mini-series… but the moment had been prepared for. With the end of Immortal X-Men #16 first reflected in Jean Grey #3…

And then in Jean Grey #4, ending with Hope Summers getting a little something extra… after dealing with yet another version of Madelyne Pryor, she joins the throng as her actual self.

And gives Hope Summers a present to deal with that cliffhanger situation. How much of this was to have been picked up in Immortal X-Men? Well, with Immortal X-Men #17 out today, all of it. Call it a Louise Simonson/Kieron Gillen collaboration.
