Bryan Lee O'Malley's Cover For Zander Cannon's Kaijumax

My love for Zander Cannon's work knows no bounds. I did not think I could be more excited for his new massive monster comic Kaijumax from Oni Press.

This is how wrong I was.

While not representative of the insides, Bryan Lee O'Malley has created a "chibi"-style variant cover for the comic, showing the monstrous cast of the comic in a more adorable fashion…

The book comes out on April 8th. And I think may be appearing in next week's Advance Reorders chart on Bleeding Cool as retailers dive in…

Kaijumax is a forbidden island where the worst of the worst monsters are safely locked away from the human world. Among the inmates are villains, anti-heroes, eco-parables, nuclear metaphors and more. Protagonist and inmate Electrogar is apprehended while searching for food to feed his children and must find a way to escape this maximum-security island while learning how to navigate the dangers and alliances of prison culture.
