The Daredevil starring in the latest Daredevil relaunch isn't the Daredevil you may be used to. This is a grimmer Daredevil. A grittier Daredevil. A Daredevil who wears a Punisher t-shirt. This is basically the Snyder Cut of Daredevil is what we're saying. So when The Owl finds out that Daredevil is about to break into his drug manufacturing facility in this preview of next week's Daredevil #5, he knows what he has to do…

That's right. Gotta get the drugs out of there right away.

But maybe not because Owl is worried that Daredevil will bust him. In fact, it turns out, this Daredevil has developed something of a taste for pain medication…

Yeah, the opioid crisis has finally begun affecting our superheroes. Well, Marvel is the world outside your window, after all.

Indeed, this is quite a refreshing take on Daredevil. Isn't it about time we had a junkie superhero?
