When Marvel announced that Doctor Doom would be getting his own solo ongoing, there were a lot of ways we thought it might go.

But one thing we would never have expected was that it would lead to Doctor Doom and Kang the Conqueror riding the rails across America like a couple of train hobos.

But just because we didn't foresee it doesn't mean it's not exactly the Doom comic we never knew we wanted so badly.

Though we do think Doom and Kang could stand to treat their fellow travellers more kindly…
