Why The Flash TV Fans Should Be Reading The Digital Comics
Fans of the CW series The Flash and Arrow should be reading the two digital series DC Comics are doing – The Flash: Season Zero and Arrow: Season 2.5. Here is just two examples from the most recent issue of The Flash that came out on Monday by Andrew Kreisberg, Brooke Eikmeier, Katherine Walczak and Phil Hester.
First up is this scene where Barry Allen is in a catatonic state brought on by the villain Mr. Bliss. To help bring Barry back, Harrison Wells heads to his super secret room where it turns out that he has future tech. So Wells brought more than just a newspaper and connection to an future A.I. with him. How will that technology be used in future episodes?
Second, we get just a hint of what made Eddie Thawne transfer to Central City as he and Iris West are forced to relive their greatest fears by Mr. Bliss. Who did he shoot and how will that effect his potential future?
With this comic being co-written by executive producer Andrew Kreisberg and the Arrow book being co-written by executive producer Marc Guggenheim… you can expect more of these little bits of important information to pop up in the comic series that fans of the television series will want to know.
Both The Flash: Season Zero and Arrow: Season 2.5 are available on Comixology with new episodes of each appearing on alternating Mondays.
