Marvel Registers Loki Trademark Ahead Of Boom's New Comic Book

loki-agent-of-asgardMarvel have been firming up their trademark registrations on Ant-Man, Venom and Sinister Six ahead of Marvel and Sony's upcoming movies.

But there's also a registration on Loki: Agent Of Asgard, the name of the new comic from Marvel out this week.

It's registered for,

Comic books; magazines featuring printed stories in illustrated form and comic book stories and artwork; printed periodicals in the field of comic book stories and artwork; posters

Normally Marvel get involved with registering trademarks when there are multi-media possibilities. So will we get a film? A cartoon?A TV series? If no why just trademark the comic books?

Well, could it be something to do with another comic from Boom, Loki: Ragnarok And Roll out on the 19th February?
