Odd Things In The Marvel AR Android App

We've already seen how some if the AVX imagery can trigger a 3D Iron Man walking around the device on your screen.

But one of Bleeding Cool's more technologically minded Little Bleeders, Matt Watts, has been having a closer look at the Marvel AR App on his Android device. And with a but of jiggery pokery has found the files that are triggered by the images the AR App "sees".

But not only that, a bunch of ads for Benefit Cosmetics, taking up half the App memory space of 27 Mb, that seem to be the leftovers from another App created by the same producers. That's unless Marvel is really branching out into a different market.

Here's one of the files from the Jean Grey School below… the black background indicates it may be intended to appear with the rest of the printed page showing through… and one of those Benefit Cosmetics ads. Just in case it's all a crossover we just haven't worked out yet!
