The Triumphant Return of Louise Simonson and June Brigman to Power Pack in Power Pack: Grow Up #1 [Preview]

In just a few weeks, legendary creative team Louise Simonson and June Brigman reunite for Marvel's 80th-anniversary to tell another tale of the Power Pack in Power Pack: Grow Up #1. If, like us, you can't wait, we've got a preview below.

The recap page sets the stage, showing this story is taking place in the past, with the Power Pack still kids.

And we open with Alex Power, unhappy his siblings will attend his birthday party.

Alex's poor attitude almost causes Katie Power to wreck her Lila Cheney action figure.

And when Alex loses control of his powers, Jack Power is there to save the day.

And having been expertly introduced to our four heroes, it's time to meet their parents, as well as Alex's love interest, Allison McCourt.

That story will continue when Power Pack: Grow Up #1 hits stores on Wednesday. But here's a look at an epilogue by Simonson and artist Gurihiru.

Sounds like the first story had a lot of excitement, even if this epilogue is revealing all the spoilers.

And we see a flashback, with Katie deciding to get herself a birthday present instead.

What will she do? Find out on Wednesday when Power Pack: Grow Up #1 hits comic shops. And be sure to buy ten copies so Marvel will bring these ladies back for an ongoing series, please.
