Diamond Comic Distributors One Of The 222 Obamacare Exemption CompaniesThere have  been 222 exemptions approved by companies and other bodies to the strictures imposed by the new US healthcare insurance policies, nicknamed Obamacare,  intending to provide 32 million uninsured Americans with healthcare and to improve existing policies.

Legislation for certain bodies to raise their healthcare provision, by removing caps to the financial amount of treatment available, has been waived in some cases, so as to prevent the bodies dropping the healthcare coverage they already provide entirely.

Everyone from the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Ogdensburg to Universal Orlando has received such a waiver.

And amongst the million employees represented by these companies, are the 37 employees of Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc.

The message is, if you work for Diamond, you can get sick on their insurance dime. Just not too sick.

Diamond declined to comment on this matter.
