Ken Levine's Next Game Is Going To Be Sci-Fi-ish
Ken Levine is one of the west's most iconic game developers having created Bioshock and System Shock 2. That's why there is always an extreme interest in whatever he is doing next. Last we heard, he was playing with 'narrative lego' after being enamored with Shadow of Mordor.
Yesterday, he dropped a bunch of hints on Twitter for us to comb over (via PC Gamer). In a back and forth with fans, he talked vaguely about the game's concept and where it is now. Here is a collection of the tweets.
@krustentier7 i think small open worldish (but not necessarily outdoors) rpg with quest structure coming from passion system.

RT @Trey_Tice: give us a hint as to what this setting is? Or is that confidential? –We're playing with something sci fi. Or sci-fi ish. — Ken Levine (@IGLevine) January 27, 2015
RT @braxton_wheeler: @IGLevine what is the game about? will it be first person or third? -Current thinking is first.

RT @TheOmnomnomicon: @IGLevine Strictly being developed for PC release or multi-platform? –As of now, developing for pc. — Ken Levine (@IGLevine) January 27, 2015
@kevinscheidt A game with replayable narrative that can be added IN to like a civ expansion pack, vs. say a Burial at Sea.

A Levine designed indoor, open worldish, sci-fi-ish, first person shooter with dynamic narratives? I'm in.
Sadly, this all sounds like it is very much in the concept stage side of things. That means we are probably a few years off from the game getting into our hands.
