Marvel Misses Kick Ass 2 #5 From Order Form (UPDATE)
Earlier today, retailers were informed that even though Kick Ass 2 #5 had been featured in October's Marvel Previews, it had somehow not actually made it on to the retailer order form.
It's now been added onto Previews Plus, the additional Previews publication, but a number of retailers don't read that and only order from the main catalogue.
If you're one of those retailers, or the customer of one, the item code for ordering AUG118087 and the deadline for doing so is 17th October.
Oops.
UPDATE: Marvel have now chosen to comment telling me;
We solicited it in the December catalog even though it was a November on-sale. It ran as an "ad" page which means we printed the "on-the-fly" Diamond code in the catalog
It appears on the Diamond on-line order form
It was in the December order form as an "offered again" item since it was actually a November on-sale and not a December on-sale. It was on the order form, just not in the usual section
It has appeared in the Marvel Mailer multiple weeks now promoting the solicitation of the issue and calling attention to the different nature of this solicit
It will appear on the Diamond FOC list when that FOC week hits
