New Crossed Ongoing Series To Be Bi Weekly, New Web Comic By Si Spurrier Announced, Return Of Gravel, And Absolution Happy Kitty
At the Avatar Press panel at San Diego Comic Con, publisher William Christensen, announced that the ongoing Crossed series starting next year, Crossed: Badlands will be bi-weekly, with a copy coming out every fortnight, starting with Crossed creators Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows.
He also told the crowd that the Crossed: Wish You Were Here webcomic by Si Spurrier will start this autumn. But that Avatar are launching a new webcomic, also by Si Spurrier, called Disenchanted. More on that to come…
Stitched, based on Garth Ennis' film produced by Avatar and premiering at San Diego Comic Con, will be an ongoing horror comic, launching in November, with Mike Wolfer on art.
An Absolution One Shot by Christos Gage and Paul Duffield, spotlighting the Happy Kitty character will be published next year.
And Gravel by Mike Wolfer will return next year – and he's eighteen issues in to writing the series return already.
I know all this because I'm actually on the panel. And am writing this down while I'm up here. Sweet.
