New Dark Horse 1 for $1 Ad Takes On Original Sin
Dark Horse have been promoting new readership on their longer running series by having an issue 1 for $1.00 for some time, and coming up they have the already famous "Whedon Threeway" collecting three key issues for only $1.00. But to promote the entire program of 1 for $1.00, they're about to make a bold print move that will appear as advertizements in comics appearing as early as next week.

Watch out Marvel, folks might not be taking you as seriously as you had hoped. Kudos to Dark Horse for engaging with the publishing zeitgeist right now in a witty way. If we want to get very meta about it, could we interpret this as cutting through hype to get to the basics of what fans want and need–accessible comics they can afford rather than crossovers that require massive reading lists? Just a thought.
