Pop Culture Hounding The Unwritten's Mike Carey

Following on from last episode with John Wagner & Carlos Ezquerra (which you can still listen to here), this time I'm back with The Unwritten's Mike Carey for a reading from his latest novel, House of War & Witness (co-written with his wife & daughter) at the NICE Convention in Bedford.

In addition to another great dramatic reading, Mike and I sit down for a Q & A to discuss historical fiction, what it's like writing with your family, how he approaches different forms of writing, and what's coming up next.

NB: The sound quality during the reading is not ideal, but still well worth listening to. It improves during the Q & A around the 18-19 minute mark.
