Ready The Grenades: An Inside Look At Charles Forsman's Revenger #4, Out Today
Charles Forsman has been producing his new indie series Revenger independently for print and for download, but also distributing digitally on ComiXology. So far the retro revenge story has moved through three issues. The fourth issue, "No Bones" was released today.
As a whole, Revenger tells the story of "a woman who doesn't take any sh*t. She roams a crumbling United States in the 1980s helping the beaten and exploited even their odds. The first issue kicks off with a call for help from a teenage boy who is concerned about his missing girlfriend". From there, things only get more intense.
In this issue, "Revenger and the Garbage Rats initiate their assault on the Hotel Neptune, Kelly's Dad gets a yellow-belly and Mr. Groan is more than meets the EYE!". That's quite a description with plenty of the ultra-focused and attitude-driven conflict characteristic of this comic.
