At the BLVD booth (#1223), Tommy Lee Edwards, Trevor Goring, John Paul Leon, Sean Chen and Bernard Chang are selling a new comic, theBVLD Storybook 1.0. With five chapters featuring five very different stories by Jonathan Ross.

British broadcaster Jonathan Ross has already had success with Tommy Lee Edwards on Image title Turf, with another book by the pair, Golden Age, planned. But now Ross has written five comics for members of the BLVD studio and all are teased here.

Tommy Lee Edwards has drawn Speed Trap, a Six Million Dollar Man/Robocop scenario in which a racing driver is almost killed for what he knows but returns as a meld of man and machine.

Trevor Goring presents character designs for The Brotherhood Of Steam, an interdimensional steampunk romp.

John Paul Leon has characters and sketches from Rock Paper Scissors, alien police sent to work on Earth in the nineteen seventies, Brooklyn.

Sean Chen draws pencilled and lettered pages from Escape… From Prison Planet in which our protagonist is falsely accused of crimes he didn't commit and now finds himself trapped and in peril. Unless he can… escape.

And finally Brenard Chang draws oencilled, lettered and coloured pages from Tonda, Barbarian Queen Of The North. Nuff said.

The teaser comic costs $10 and is only available at San Diego Comic Con. For now.
