We are pretty damn excited to learn more about the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars television series from Jon Favreau– The Mandalorian. We got our "first look" at the official logo during the Disney Investor's Day presentation earlier this week, and it was just enough to boost those hype tanks.
Today, there is a full panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago dedicated to the show that was reportedly Kathleen Kennedy's idea, and we're hoping for the first teaser trailer and maybe even some character photos.
Favreau previously commented on the scale of the series, saying it has a lot in common with the first Star Wars film.
The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney+ when the streaming service launches on November 12th 2019. It stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter, alongside Gina Carano (Deadpool), Carl Weathers (Predator), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Warrior).
