Roar Comics To Release Crystal Cadets

Roar Comics, and imprint of Lion Forge has a new comic series called Crystal Cadets and we have a preview of the first trade. Distributed by IDW Publishing, the 128-page book focuses on a team of darkness-fighting, world-saving, power-packed teen girls from all over the world on their first adventure.

Zoe has always felt out of place, like she's missing a piece. When she discovers a mysterious package left by her birth mother, she seems to have found it: a crystal that grants her amazing powers of light! Zoe becomes the Diamond Cadet, and she's not the only one; suddenly she's meeting new friends who shoot flames and glowing green arrows. It's fun at first, but when The Darkness possesses Zoe's foster parents she has to join this wild group of action-hero girls, traveling the globe to defeat The Darkness and find a cure!
