The Return of Alex Wilder is Making Things Awkward in Runaways #13 Preview

The previous issue of Runaways, Runaways #12, was widely praised on social media, pleasing fans with a second chance for a relationship between Nico and Karolina, complete with not one, but two kisses, as Gert and Victor's disembodied head were also getting it on after time-traveling to look at butterflies. Oh, and there was the matter of the return of Alex Wilder on the issue's final page.

So anticipation is high, naturally, for next week's Runaways #13. Marvel has released a preview, EXCLUSIVELY to compliant media partner The A.V. Club. But there's one fatal flaw to their exclusionary plan: a little something called right-click and save. So we've liberated this EXCLUSIVE preview for you, in which the team reacts to Alex's return.

But Nico's evil ex-boyfriend showing up when she's finally starting things up with Karolina isn't the only thing making it awkward. Alex has also brought along his three-headed dog monster.

Check out the preview below.
