Lumberjanes…the most important comic to be released within the past few years. Well, it's definitely one of the most important to me and a lot of other people. From BOOM! Studios imprint BOOM! Box, written by Noelle Stevenson, Shannon Watters, and Faith Erin Hicks, with art by Carolyn Nowak, Brooke Allen, and other various talents, Lumberjanes has rocked hard. This week brings the release of Lumberjanes to the Max Edition Vol. 2 HC. If you're looking for a reason to grab a copy, here are three…

One: This comic just keeps getting better. With every new issue I read, I fall more in love with the setting it takes place in and all of the characters. This particular story ARC which collects issues 9-12 and 14-17 will knock your socks off.

Two: The art! The art is fantastic! I've called it whimmagiful (whimsical, colorful, and magical) once before, and I'll do it again.

Three: It's a great way to catch up. Binge reading is oh so fun, and Lumberjanes is a great comic to binge. They are currently gearing up to release issue #30 so if you grab both of the Lumberjanes to the Max Editions, you'll be a little bit more than halfway to the current issues.
