Why You Need To Read Axis #3 And Deadpool #36 Together To Make Sense Of It All
Here's a recommended reading order for today's Axis-related titles.
First All-New X-Factor #15. It happens independently of the other books, exploring a world destroyed by the Red Skull's hate. And reminding us that President Obama is a fan of Conan The Barbarian comic books. But it happens before the events of the next comics.
Then the beginning of Deadpool #36, the first thirteen pages.
Then I'd skip to Axis #3. The first fourteen pages.
Then the first panel of page fourteen of Deadpool. This one.
Then pages fifteen to seventeen of Axis.
Then the rest of page fourteen of Deadpool.
Then the rest of Axis.
Then the rest of Deadpool.
Then Hobgoblin #1.
And you should be fine!
It's a bit complex, but otherwise you'll miss dialogue between Deadpool and Iron Man that will make Axis make more sense.
And also the end of Deadpool definitely defines what happens at the end of Axis, regarding the "inversion"…
And Hobgoblin reinforces it! No dead Gwen Stacys on his watch!
