Earlier this year, Bleeding Cool told you that "Gwenpool" based on a Secret Wars variant cover by Chris Bachalo was fast becoming a thing.

We then told you that Howard The Duck would be getting a Gwenpool variant cover by Ron Lim.

And now Marvel have issued a press release saying nothing but "Seriously?!?!…Gwenpool?" accompanied by this image by Ron Lim. It could be the same thing, it could be something else.
