I'm Mark Stokes, the creator and producer of Zombie Boy Comics. I recently launched a Kickstarter to raise the funds to print my first 200 Zombie Boy comic strips in a collected book for the first time ever!
Zombie Boy is eleven year old Morgan McCorkindale, a normal kid who became a full-fledged zombie on a family vacation to Voodoo Island. Zombie Boy Comics features the afterlife and times of Zombie Boy and his pals, and the strip is posted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
I've been an independent comic creator for almost 30 years, beginning in 1987 when Zombie Boy was first published as a comic book. I've published four Zombie Boy comics and have been involved in other independent comic book projects for DC, Adhesive Comics and Caliber Comics. I'm also a character animator, one of the short films I animated was shown in Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Animation Festival.
If you're interested in helping me reach my goal, I'm offering a lot of rewards, including some first-time Zombie Boy merchandize, original Zombie Boy comic books, original art, and guest appearances in a Zombie Boy comic strip. Bleeding Cool readers will get an original sketch inside each book purchased, just message me and let me know you found me through BC.
Has quietly been working at Bleeding Cool for over three years. He has written comics for Image, Top Cow, Shadowline, Avatar, IDW, Dynamite, Moonstone, Humanoids and Zenescope. He is the author of the Lucius Fogg series of novels and a published photographer.
