2-Inch "Justice League Action" Figures Prove Size Doesn't Matter, It's How You Play With Them
So you're a grown man or woman, and you still like toys. That's okay. Lots of adults are into toys. Sure, we at Bleeding Cool are personally way too mature to play with toys, but we do want to make sure we're serving the interests of our readers. As prominent members of the entertainment journalism community, it's our duty, if you really think about it, to provide extensive toy coverage, not for our own sake, no, but for you. That look of glee on the face of Dan Wickline when he opens up a Marvel Collectors Corp box isn't for his own joy. It's for the joy he knows that you, as a reader, will feel when, based on his professional recommendation, you purchase some toys of your own.
It's with that in mind that, when we saw these new Mattel action figures for Justice League Action, otherwise known as Justice League Action Action Figures or JLAAF, we thought it would be a good excuse to write off toys we were planning to buy for ourselves on our tax returns imperative for us to pass them along to you. According to website Superman Homepage, the action figures will be two inches tall and feature interchangeable parts, with the first wave of figures consisting of Superman, Blue Beetle, Firestorm, Batman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Green Arrow. There will also be three-packs (pictured below) that feature other characters and come with parts to build a Darkseid (he's the guy who looks like Thanos) figure, also pictured below.
The toys are expected to hit shelves in January, just in time for… oh… damn, you really dropped the ball on that, Mattel.
