All The Games Shown During The UploadVR Showcase – Winter 2023

Last week the The UploadVR Showcase - Winter 2023 livestream happened before the game awards, and we have all the games from that show.

Recently, just before the 2023 Game Awards, we got to see a few livestreams with several other titles revealed. This included the UploadVR Showcase – Winter 2023 edition. Throughout the show, they revealed over 50 VR titles either on the way or in production. We have the full rundown of everything revealed during the show for you below.

Vertigo 2

Vertigo 2 is a single-player adventure built from the ground up for VR. Deep underground in the reaches of Quantum Reactor VII, you awake to finish your journey home. You'll have to face bizarre alien flora and fauna leaking from other universes – and deadly android security forces whose job is to purge the reactor of all life. Try to determine who to trust as sinister agents lurk just out of sight.

Prison Boss VR

First released in 2017, Prison Boss VR is a room-scale simulation and crafting game that puts players in the shoes of a prisoner who wants to make the most of their time in jail. Craft and sell to your fellow inmates contraband items like cigarettes, erotic letters, or even …warm and delicious cookies! With your hard-earned money, buy new supplies or furniture to pimp your cell and become more efficient! But, most importantly, be careful of the guards patrolling at night; they'll confiscate any merchandise they see.

Defy

Descend into terror in Defy, an immersive first-person horror game set within a surreal liminal world. Unspeakable creatures use their raw senses, alongside cutting-edge AI, to hunt you through the ever-evolving darkness. Survival Nation

Final Fury

The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend

The Pirate Queen tells the story of Cheng Shih, the widow of Cheng Yat, leader of the Red Flag pirate fleet who dominated the South China Sea in the 1800s. When Cheng Yat dies, the Red Flag Fleet is plunged into turmoil as Kwok Po Dai, leader of rival Black Flag pirate fleet, threatens to take over as successor. Players take on the identity of Cheng Shih to navigate the treacherous waters and cabins of a moonlit pirate ship, break out of locked rooms, crack complex codes, creep through winding passages and exercise their wit to seize control of the fleet – all to become one of the most revered and feared Pirates in history: The Pirate Queen. Drums Rock

Wallace & Gromit in The Grand Getaway

The choices a player makes will be critical to their chances of survival, with every decision perhaps resulting in life or death consequences.

Astro Hunters VR

Embark on an epic interstellar journey in Astro Hunters VR, the open-world VR action game set in space. Immerse yourself in the exploration of diverse planets, fight with different enemies, craft, gather resources and upgrade your weapons – either solo or in multiplayer.

Brazen Blaze

Brazen Blaze is a competitive, close quarter melee combat game reminiscent of  Overwatch meets Super Smash Bros, but in VR. Players choose from a variety of characters with rich backstories and unique skills to destroy whatever lies in their path to achieve victory. The fast matches keep the game accessible for those who look for a quick and casual intuitive experience or for those who prefer to dive into hours of crazy fun fights and content. Players can play with friends or solo in team battles.

Bulletstorm VR

Bulletstorm VR puts players in the battle-hardened boots of an elite badass mercenary as they fight everything from crazy raiders to colossal sky-scraper-sized beasts with an extended (and explosive) sci-fi arsenal. Bulletstorm VR expands on this chaos by introducing content not seen in the original game, including new levels that feature Trishka Novak as a newly playable badass babe on the hunt to send her father's killer back to hell. Under Cover VR

The game arrives on Meta Quest 3 on January 16.

Vestiges: Fallen Tribes

Vestiges: Fallen Tribes is a strategic card game mixed with an autobattler, set in a tribal sci-fi universe.
