Apex Legends Experiencing Connection Issues Today

Well, you can't be popular and have everyone try your game without experiencing a problem here and there, much like Apex Legends is experiencing today. Earlier today, players were complaining in droves on social media that they were having issues connecting to the game, which led Respawn to discover there was an issue affective everyone across all platforms. As of when we're writing this, these are the current status updates as they seem to have fixed most of the console issues and are working on PC.

What caused this issue is unknown at this point, but considering the free-to-play battle royale has continually seen their audience grow since its launch on Monday, we're guessing the number of people currently trying to play on the weekend may have just tested the servers to a degree. Considering how many people are playing it on Twitch as we speak, to the point where almost every single channel is an Apex Legends stream, I'd say a connection issue is a best-case scenario for a problem they could have right now.
