"Avengers: Damage Control" Shows A Major Marvel Villain Return
In case you haven't been following VR titles in arcade environments, there's a new one on the way called Avengers: Damage Control. Marvel Studios, ILMxLAB, and The VOID have all come together to create a brand new virtual reality experience in which you and a partner will step into the shoes of The Avengers to defend against a new threat. Up until now, we haven't seen a lot from the game beyond the idea that you play as a pair of new recruits helping out Earth's mightiest heroes. But now we have a new trailer showing just what kind of danger you're getting into.
First and foremost, this thing has some of the voice cast from the Marvel movies involved! You're getting the voice talents of Letitia Wright, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, and Evangeline Lilly, all reprising their roles from the various films. We're sure there are more, but that's just what we got from the trailer, as you're facing off against the returning Ultron. And yes, it is the Ultron from the films, being voiced by James Spader. Avengers: Damage Control will drop in select locations of The VOID for a limited run starting on October 18th. Those spots include New York City, Atlanta, Santa Monica, and the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim. If you'd like to give it a shot, you can purchase tickets here.
