Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition is Finally Released in the UK
This week, Badland Games finally heard the cries of UK fans of Axiom Verge and have released the Multiverse Edition across the pond.
Aside from the fact that Axiom Verge is one of the best indie titles to be released in the past five years, the game has earned a rabid cult following who will buy anything and everything attached to the game — even multiple versions like the recent Nintendo Switch version that was released. So imagine being a fan in London and not being able to snag the awesome edition you see below.
The Multiverse Edition includes a physical copy of the game, a 32-page art book, a double-sided poster, complete maps, a Blu-ray filled with five hours of content about the game, and (for Nintendo Switch owners) the game's full soundtrack. We have more details about the game below, and for those of you still clinging to your Wii U, the game will be released for the console later this year.
- Expansive non-linear exploration of multiple labyrinthine, interlocking areas.
- Tons of unique tools and abilities, loads of weapons, and bundles of health/power/attribute upgrades.
- Dozens of unique creatures and bosses to battle.
- In-game glitches allowing you to break past the boundaries of normal gameplay.
- Speedrun mode: Play with a streamlined interface and additional features.
