Bandai Namco Shows Off Bless Unleashed at PAX East 2019

Bandai Namco had a couple of games to show off during PAX East this year, the first of which we got to explore was Bless Unleashed. Developed by Round 8 Studio and NEOWIZ, this is a free-to-play MMORPG that will be released in the first half of 2019, but we don't have a confirmed date for it yet. You're getting a massive fantasy world with a combo-battle system based in five different job classes you can take on. The demo we tried out had us venture into some peons and a mini-boss before having to run into a cyclops who was just the biggest pain to take down.

I love the look of this game as it has a much more animated feeling compared to games like Black Desert, but flows very smoothly between exploration and combat phases. Once I figured out how best to use my character and their abilities, the combat went smoothly and I felt very in control of what was going on around me. However, the bosses are going to put you to the test as they are not to be trifled with on your own. The demo I played didn't have much else for me to do other than get a feel for how the game can be played in this aspect. My guess is we're going to see more at E3 along with a release date when the time comes.
