Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken putting a big emphasis on story,
I can't wait for Destiny 2: Forsaken. Destiny 2, despite stumbles in its first year, is a great experience. That said, fans want more and to see exactly the track the game is headed down with Forsaken, the game's first major expansion. The big ado about the game is that it will feature Cayde-6 dying, (which was one of the first things announced about the new content, before you cry spoilers.), and the Guardians will have to go up against Prince Uldren Sov of the Awoken for revenge.
Well, the game is out next week, and to go along with that, we've gotten a launch trailer. It shows a bunch of story stuff, from Cayde's death, as well as hints towards the Prince's motivation. It's honestly a fantastic Destiny trailer and shows a commitment to the narrative by Bungie. I will say though, for as good as it is, if you are sensitive to spoilers, be mindful. There were hints towards some big reveals in here. Take a look:
That was an excellent little trailer. One of the best the franchise has put out, and to me, looks very varied. The focus on such a strong antagonist we already have a relationship which has a lot of potentials. Destiny hasn't had such a personal antagonist before and I think that could go a long way. Here's hoping Destiny 2: Forsaken really clinches the potential the first game laid down.
