Dragon Quest Tact Will Be Shut Down At The End Of February
Square Enix recently announced that they will be ending Dragon Quest Tact in February, without giving a clear reason as to why.

Square Enix made the reveal over the holidays that they will be shutting down Dragon Quest Tact, starting with the English version at the end of February. The company sent out the information you see below to players, letting them know that the game will come to an end on February 29, 2024. No reason was given for the decision beyond the idea that it was a "difficult" one to make. For those of you who have been enjoying the game, that gives you two months to do everything left to do in the game, or just have some last experiences before it ends.

We regret to announce we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Dragon Quest Tact app service as of 0:00 on Feb. 29, 2024 (PST). From the Dragon Quest Tact Production Team, we apologize for the abrupt announcement but are sincerely grateful for the support we've received from our players. Since Dragon Quest Tact's launch on Jan. 27, 2021, we've strived to provide an incredible and enjoyable gaming experience for our players every day that could exceed the day before. However, we've come to the conclusion that it would be difficult to continue maintaining the app experience, therefore we are ending the app service. As we approach the end of app service, please be aware of the following.
