"Evan's Remains" Will Be Released On Steam In June 2020

Whitethorn Digital announced this week that the Maitan69 (Matías Schmied) indie adventure platformer Evan's Remains will be coming out this Summer. The game will officially be released on Steam on June 11th, 2020. it looks really well-done with a number of throwback mechanics to SNES/Genesis platforms or adventure titles. We especially dig the idea that the puzzle-solving aspect to the game helps reveal more of the story, and isn't just there to eat up a level. Check out the trailer and screenshots below.

Evan, the genius boy, has been missing for years. One day, a letter signed by him is received, claiming he's on an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Nobody knows why, but he asked specifically for a girl named "Dysis" to go and look for him. The player will take control of this girl, who we don't know much about. As we follow Dysis's adventure, questions will start to be answered little by little. All of the little puzzle pieces which seemed unrelated in the beginning will now begin to slowly fit together as the truth is slowly revealed.
