Far Cry 5 is Getting a Short Film And it Has a Neat Looking Trailer
It's been announced that Far Cry 5 is getting a short-film on around the story of the game in just a few days.
Just yesterday, we posted a live-action trailer for Far Cry 5 that showed off the scattered origin of the game's antagonist Joseph Seed. It was a nice introduction to the character and cool to see the title realised in live-action in such a complete way. The marketing for the game has gotten a bit silly here and there, but the most recent push of trailers has seemingly settled the game into its more serious and frightening roots.
It seems that was only the tip of the iceberg too. A whole short movie is set to release soon, with Greg Bryk back reprising his role as Seed. It follows three vloggers who go into the woods (wait a minute, this is sounding a bit Logan Paul…) in order to find Hope County to see what is going on with reports of strange activity. It's clear when they get there the stories are true and there is more going on than they bargained for. The short film is called Far Cry 5: Inside Eden's Gate and you can check out the trailer for it here:
The short will launch on Amazon Prime on March 5, 2018. Ubisoft worked with Asylum, a division of Legendary Entertainment on it so it has some nice pedigree. This looks intriguing. I really do hope to check it out, as the subject material, for this and the game has a lot of potential. Here's hoping.
