A Fire Emblem Game For The Nintendo Switch Is Coming 2018
Fire Emblem is pretty universally seen as being a strong handheld series. It has certainly had entries on home consoles, but it has thrived on handheld
Well, it is going to have a whack at a 'Home' console soon though. During a Fire Emblem themed Nintendo Direct today, it was revealed that next year, a new game in the franchise will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Besides the 2018 release date, not much more is known.
Speaking to Gamespot, a PR representative did say:
For the first time since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on the Wii console in 2007, a new mainline game in the series is being developed for a Nintendo home system, with the ability to also be played on the go!
Of course, the Nintendo Switch is also able to go mobile too, so the series won't lose that aspect. Here's hoping it is excellent.
