Hong Meiling Joins Valkyrie Of Phantasm As Latest Battler

Playism revealed a new character addition to Valkyrie Of Phantasm, as the latest battler to join the fray is Hong Meiling. The character seems to be a little more well-balanced compared to others who seem to specialize in certain areas. The character comes to the game along with a new update that improves a number of areas, as the game is still sitting in Early Access and is being improved on in multiple ways. Valkyrie Of Phantasm – Hong Meiling Update
Hong Meiling joins the battle! Meiling has been added as a playable character in all game modes. Three new story episodes for three characters (including Meiling) have also been added to Story Mode. The story of the Valkyries and Valkyrie Arms continues.
Battles
- New Feature: Team Battles
- Currently offline only. Online team battles will be added at a later date. You may select team battles from the menu on the right side of the character select screen.
- Added new UI for team battles
Character Select
- Added a side menu and the option to play team battles
Spell Setup
- Added stat changes based on your spell selection and total cost. Parameters are subject to change.
Stage Select
- Added battle settings (time limit, point battle)
Story Mode
- Added episodes to Story Mode. New episodes for three characters, including Meiling (3 episodes in total)
BGM
- Added BGM for Meiling
Network Mode
- Fixed some problems that occurred depending on when a player disconnected
- Fixed a bug that caused attacks where you charge at your opponent to sometimes hit multiple times at once
- Fixed some issues with position synchronization
- Fixed a bug that allowed further follow-up attacks even after a player had reached the knockdown limit
