Kazuma Kiryu Returns in "Yakuza 4 Remastered," Available Now on PS4
It feels like such a long wait until we finally get Yakuza: Like A Dragon, the seventh core Yakuza entry. Luckily, Sega has plenty of content to tide us over until then.
Yakuza 4 Remastered is now available for PlayStation 4 owners, as it's officially been unlocked as part of the system's Yakuza Remastered Collection. To commemorate this awesome event, there's a new, colorful launch trailer to go along with it.
You can tell just how much polish went into bringing this sprawling classic to life on a modern console. It's eye-popping at 1080p and 60fps as well as a stunning new relocalization. In addition, any content previously cut from the game has now been restored.
You can also get the previous Yakuza titles right now as part of the collection. However, Yakuza 5 Remastered is still on the horizon. It's scheduled to debut on February 11, 2020. On the same day, you can purchase the Yakuza Remastered: Day One Edition, which is a physical iteration of the games. It comes with physical copies, a PlayStation 3 case for Yakuza 5, and a collectible case to hold everything else in.
This is a big deal for Yakuza fans, and you should be one. In fact, I'm going to dive in right now.
