Nintendo Still Hasn't Revealed Who Makes the Nintendo Labo

Nintendo may have announced the Labo weeks ago, but we still don't know who is responsible for the cardboard contraptions that will be making your Switch slightly more edgy and a whole lot more recyclable.

Kotaku reports the company is being unusually tight-lipped about the creative team or teams involved in the Nintendo Labo — which is something of a shame because the cardboard creations are incredibly awesome and deserve serious praise.

When first announced, Nintendo made no mention of who is developing the software or cardboard creations that make up the system. Even now during the latest hands-on event, Kotaku said Nintendo declined to answer its questions about what developers or designers are working on the project.

While the company is notoriously secretive about some things, like hiding tributes in console software, it's a bit unusual for Nintendo to not be forthcoming about this sort of information regarding a game that's already playable.

It seems like we'll have to wait for the Labo Variety Kit and Robot Kit to release on April 20th before we get the answer. Most likely, Nintendo are holding that information back for good reason, so expect some serious mind-bending when we do find out who was behind the Labo.

In the meantime, you can check out the adorable photos of what the full Labo system will look like in the gallery of photos from the recent Labo Studio Event below. All photos are property of Nintendo.
