NVIDIA Wins April Fools With Joke AI Assistant R.O.N.

NVIDIA has joined the April Fool's joke announcement rounds and, honestly, they've won for this year. Like most AI assistants, R.O.N.'s feature set starts out simply with localization in 18 languages, as well as R.O.N.'s ability to optimize your games and provide you with the latest gaming news.

But then things jump off the rails. Scrolling further down the announcement page, NVIDIA informs you that R.O.N. can analyze your games and coach you on being better at gaming. The AI even tells the human host Julian that his best runs of Apex Legends involve him "dropping bunker and, well, hiding"

Which is just rude, R.O.N.

The AI's next feature is his "RageConverter" technology which detects when players are about to rage, and converts the user's yowls of "gitgud" into supportive commentary. The AI can even help you with trolls because of R.O.N.'s "cutting-edge TrollDestroyer capabilities" which allow the assistant to out-argue trolls. You know, because R.O.N. doesn't need to eat or sleep.

And if that wasn't enough, the AI assistant is capable of getting rid of unwanted distractions with a "TalkBlock" feature that distracts your loved ones so you can game in peace.
