Shadow Of The Colossus Receives A New Story Trailer For Launch

There's quite a few of us who have fond memories playing Shadow Of The Colossus on the PS2 who are anxiously waiting to get our hands on the remastered version of the game, and Sony knows that too! So much so, that they decided to give us a brand new trailer for the game showing off the story. Keeping things spoiler free, if you've never played the game, the short version is that it features a lone warrior who entered a forbidden land to ask the gods to bring a young woman back to life. The only way they will grant his request is to go out to different parts of the pristine valley you're in and slay all of the colossal beasts that inhabit the land.

Everything about this trailer not only shows the simplicity of storytelling without the need of long-winded scripts or long in-depth explanations, but it also shows off the beauty of the game as it has been cleaned up and presented in a new light for those who never had the chance to play it.
