Sony's State of Play Reveals New MediEvil Gameplay and Story
Sony aired the second episode of their new "State of Play" stream series today, which unveiled some new gameplay for the remake of MediEvil in a brand new story trailer. We knew this gameplay was coming, so seeing it in the 10 minute stream wasn't a surprise. That said, it looks awesome.
The updated graphics and gameplay have the familiar feel of the original, but with modern improvements which will make re-living the adventures of Sir Daniel Fortesque even more fun than it was the first time around.
While the story should be familiar if you played the original, getting a recap in the form of a story trailer is always nice, since it has been over two decades since the initial release of MediEvil in 1998.
MediEvil will release on October 25th, 2019 on PlayStation 4 with full 4K support.
Coming 25th October 2019!
Re-live the original adventure on PlayStation 4. The beloved fan-favorite has been completely remade from the grave up, blending classic gameplay with stunning visuals, all in eye-popping 4K!
Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.
