Square Enix To Shut Down Japan's 'Final Fantasy' Mobile Game

It shouldn't come as any surprise that Square Enix has created Final Fantasy products exclusive to Japan. One of those is Final Fantasy for Mobile, a mobile version of the game that's been running for 14 years so far. Well, over the weekend, the company announced on their support page that they would be ending the game at the end of March 2018. No specific reason was given for the game being shut down, but considering the path Square Enix has been taking with their mobile games, it may just be them killing off one system to replace it with something new.
