Steep Is Free To Play This Weekend!
Ubisoft's extreme winter sports game Steep is free to play this weekend on Xbox One, PS4, and PC for anyone who wants to take the game out for a spin. The free Alaskan DLC will also be included in the trial, so you've got a lot of content to sink your teeth in. It's all the fun of being an adrenaline junkie with a disposable body. Not like you'll get locked out of the game for dying or anything, so make your suicidal jumps and meet your friends at the bottom of the mountain.
During the free trial, the full game will be available for half-price for the standard edition, 40% off on the Gold edition of the game. The sale runs until 3/13 on Xbox Live, and until 3/20 on the PSN.
If you buy Steep from Ubisoft directly, however, both editions of the game are half-off until 3/14.
The times are as follows:
Xbox One: 3/10 at 12:01 am – 3/13 at 11:59pm (Pacific)
PS4: 3/10 at 10 am – 3/13 at 10 am (Pacific)
Uplay (PC): 3/10 at 10 am – 3/13 at 10 am (Pacific)
I know, Uplay. Still, a free trial is always a good thing for players. Especially when paired with a discount on the full game. So prepare your skiis, get your base jumping suits on, and get ready to head out for the mountain on Friday it's time for an exciting weekend.
Just, do remember that this weekend marks the start of Daylight Savings time, so how that will affect the free trial I do not know. None the less, have fun.
