Take A Look At The Cancelled Watchmen Game Meant To Tie Into The Movie
There was a tie in game for the Watchmen movie called Watchmen: The End is Nigh. It wasn't a well recieved title, and the download only game has fallen into obscurity since. That wasn't always the case though.
This new video from Unseen64, covers how that game came to be by telling the story of a cancelled game pitch by from Bottlerocket Entertainment. The game would have featured three playable characters and play styles with The Comedian, Nightowl and Rorschach. It would have featured the characters going through and influencing real life events, like JFK's assassination, much like the intro to the film.
Eventually, the pitch fell through, since Zack Snyder asked for a delay on the game, and the developer, desperate for a new job moved on to work on a Flash game.
