Testing Observer on Nintendo Switch at PAX West

Midway through PAX West, we got a chance to try out a familiar game as we tested Observer out on the Nintendo Switch. This was one of our favorite games on PC last year as you play a detective in the future who can use software to hack into a person's mind and find out details of what happened to them, even if the data is a bit uneasy to process. The game was basically a mind trip in several different ways and left us a bit uneasy when we were done, but that's totally okay.

This time around we were getting a chance to play with the upcoming port on the Nintendo Switch, which is a little bit more favorable to the joy-con controls. You actually use them to open doors, check out items, lift things, and a few other little surprises we'll let you discover. We didn't get an official release date from the company, only that it was in the works and we'd be seeing it as part of the Nindies library "soon". Enjoy the official announcement trailer for Observer on the Switch below.
