The Crew 2 Just Got A Free Major Update From Ubisoft

Ubisoft has dropped a new free update into The Crew 2 as players can now explore a new world of options through Hobbies. According to the brief bit of info the company released today, Hobbies are a new feature that will reward players for completing activities in three distinct playstyles. By doing so, this will "unlock exclusive rewards such as new vehicles, avatar outfits, and more." Players can unlock rewards from the three specific kinds of hobbies traits you see below. It's actually a pretty clever update as it gives Ubisoft a chance to expand on the content already in the game without having to add a ton of new things. Plus it gives players a chance to explore the game a little bit more using what's already there, in case they've mastered everything there is and need a new challenge. The three hobby things you can choose from are:

As if racing around the globe wasn't enough, The Crew 2 now has Hobbies, courtesy of Ubisoft.

  • The Collector: From fame to performance parts, players can collect all of the items The Crew 2 offers.
  • The Explorer: Drivers trek from coast to coast, visiting attractions, and discovering secrets all over the United States.
  • The Racer: Players must find the perfect path, outpace their opponents and reach the top of the leaderboards.

There is some bonus content in the game, but a lot of it feels like reskins and minor tweaks of things that you can already access in the game. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as we said above, it's a clever way for the devs to get more gameplay out of the things they've already created for you. Now it's up to you to utilize it and expand on it more than you already have. That is if you're up for the challenge of finding three new Hobbies to add to your game.
