The Red Dead Online Beta Adds Open Target Races Today

Rockstar Games has updated the Red Dead Online Beta for Red Dead Redemption II to add Open Target Races for all beta players on Xbox One. The mode was previously only available to PlayStation 4 players, but is now open to both consoles.

Open Target Races have the player race on horseback to take down all the targets scattered across an open plain, in whatever order they see fit.

Other PlayStation exclusives are now available to Xbox One players like the Jawbone Knife, double-breasted Hartman Jacket, snake adorned Diamondback Hat, cowhide Comstock Boots, vests, gloves, and three emotes. The emotes now available across all platforms are "I'm Hit!," "Blow Kiss," and "Point." So they're at least pretty versatile.

From today through May 6th, all Red Dead Online Beta players can take advantage of a 30% bonus on RDO$ and Gold on all A Land of Opportunities missions, all Free Roam missions and events, plus all Showdown modes including Gun Rush.
