Platinum Games has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring the popular Wii U game The Wonderful 101 to Switch and beyond.

The initial funding goal of $50,000 for the game was met within minutes, but it featured stretch goal up to $500,000 to bring the game to PC via Steam and PlayStation 4. The game shattered those goals in hours, and it's still climbing from here.

Right now, the game has broken $600k in funding. That means it will now include several additional stretch goals. If it reaches $1.5 million, an additional 2D side-scrolling adventure starring a young hero named Luka will be added. $1 million in funding will add a "Time Attack" mode to the game. Additionally, the game will be self-published.

"It has been a goal of Platinum Games to own and self-publish the IPs that we create. With your support, we hope that we can make this dream a reality and bring The Wonderful 101: Remastered to a wide variety of platforms and make The Wonderful 101 a part of everyone's gaming history! This Kickstarter is our chance to UNITE UP, take destiny into our own hands, and bring the best version of The Wonderful 101 to everyone," the developer said in a statement.

Looks like The Wonderful 101 is coming back in a big way.
