Valve Announces a New Addition to CS:GO with Danger Zone
The folks at Valve released new info today about a brand new addition to CS:GO called "Danger Zone". Surprise! It's another battle royale game. Along with that news comes the awesome revelation that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has officially become a free-to-play game on Steam, so anyone who has yet to buy or own it can now do so freely!
We're not going to completely make fun of Valve for being the last to the party when it comes to game choices, but it is kind of entertaining that it took them this long to get here after seeing games like H1Z1 and PUBG succeed on their system for the past two years and them not trying to cash in on it until now. You can pay for what the game is calling "Prime Status" for $15, which basically just gives you extra look and cosmetic items that help you in no way win the game. You can download and play the new CS:GO mode now, and you can read up on it more here.
