Batman: Arkham Asylum And Arkham City HD Collection Resurfaces
Talk of a Batman: Arkham Collection remaster circulated over a year ago. It was said Arkham Asylum and Arkham City would be making the jump to modern consoles, strangely without Arkham Knight, the topper to Rocksteady's trilogy.
Well, the package has resurfaced, again with out the final Rocksteady instalment. As sent to Eurogamer, a GameStop employee took this image showing off a remaster of the first two games. It would be coming June 10th.
It says that the games will feature "Updated Visuals". I think we can take from that, this won't be anything like a full remake. I'd speculate a general 60fps, 1080p update, based upon what we heard when this was first leaked. As expected, it looks to be coming with all the DLC too.
I still think it is strange not to pack in Arkham Knight and have the complete Rocksteady trilogy, but hey ho. I'm sure plenty will enjoy this regardless.
