Blizzard Say Overwatch Cross Platform Play Is A Possibility

The console market is changing incredibly quickly at the moment. From the expansion of cross play and the idea of iterative consoles, everything we took for granted about a multiple console market is being thrown out.

That hasn't missed Blizzard's gaze either. When asked by a user on Twitter if the company was planning any sort of cross play support, the official Twitter account didn't exactly say no. When it comes to console cross play it said:

Don't put your money on a PC and console cross play environment though. Due to the unfair nature that comes with Controller vs Keyboard and mouse, it seems unlikely.

Still, this is interesting that we arew even having these conversations. A few years ago, it would have been unthinkable. Now? Not so much.
